iPod® and iPhone® compatibility listThe SoundDock® Series I and II systems are compatible with most iPod and iPhone models. If your iPod or iPhone is included in the following list, it will work with these systems.

• iPod touch®: All generations except fifth generation with Apple Lightning™ connector

• iPhone: All models except the iPhone 5 with Apple Lightning connector

• iPod classic®

• iPod: 4th and 5th generation only

• iPod nano®: All generations except seventh generation with lightning connector

• iPod mini: All generations

The following iPod and iPhone models will play audio on the SoundDock Series I system, but will not charge on that system.

• iPod touch: 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th generation

• iPhone: 3G, 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S

• iPod nano: 4th, 5th and 6th generation

Note for iPhone 5 users: iPod and iPhone models with an Apple Lightning connector require an Apple Lightning to 30-pin adapter for use with your Bose® system.
